Kevin LeVar Gray is a gifted songwriter, recording artist, author, and minister. A native to the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, Kevin’s ministry has touched many audiences domestically and internationally.
As a songwriter, Kevin has received global recognition including being awarded honorable mention in the John Lennon Worldwide Songwriter’s Contest. His music has been recorded by GRAMMY, Stellar, and Dove Award winning artists and
showcased in award winning films, Nocturnal Agony (Shuaib Mitchell) and A Heart That Forgives (Ken Jenkins). Kevin has been featured on a plethora of television and radio networks, and performed as an invited guest on platforms that span The White House to NBA All-Star Weekend.
Within the recording industry, Kevin’s debut project Let’s Come Together produced two singles, “You Are Not Alone” and “A Heart That Forgives”, that peaked at #1 on Gospel Music Channel, while the album itself ranked as the #3 Top Gospel CD in Jet Magazine. Subsequently, the single ,“Your Destiny,” from Kevin’s sophomore project, “Destiny! Live at The Dream Center” (recorded at Angelus Temple), spent 32 weeks on Billboard peaking at #7 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart and was featured on BET/Centric’s “Single Ladies” Season 4 Premiere episode (Executive Produced by Queen Latifah).
Already the author of ‘Destiny Bridge,’ a book that challenges readers to Dare to Believe God, Kevin continues to stretch the boundaries of his creativity as he and his wife Shondale recently wrote a screenplay for a full length feature film which is currently in development.
Kevin is a father of three (one son and identical twin girls) and he, along with his beautiful wife of 11 years (Shondale), recently founded The Glory House of Frisco in Frisco, Texas where he now serves as the lead Pastor. Kevin’s newest music project, “Nothing Missing, Nothing Broken (Live in DC)”, is scheduled for a Spring 2022 release.
